Will there be severe sensitivity after whitening?
Modern professional whitening is a completely safe procedure that does not damage or thin the enamel. Increased sensitivity is possible, but this is not a sign of destruction, only a temporary reaction of the tooth nerve to the active component of the gel. It lasts no more than 24–48 hours and fully subsides. We use systems that minimize this effect and provide special products for your maximum comfort.
What are the contraindications for the procedure?
The main contraindications are age under 18, pregnancy, and lactation. The procedure is contraindicated in the presence of active dental caries, enamel cracks, old non-hermetic fillings, or acute gum disease. That is why a doctor's consultation to assess the condition of the oral cavity is mandatory before whitening.
When can I eat and what is a "white diet"?
After the procedure, it is necessary to follow the so-called "white diet" for 48–72 hours. During this period, the enamel is especially vulnerable to staining pigments. We recommend refraining from coffee, tea, red wine, berries, beets, soy sauce, and other products that may stain the teeth. The longer you follow it, the more stable the result will be.
