DENTAL CARIES TREATMENT

We restore the health and aesthetics of teeth affected by caries. We use modern Japanese materials and protocols for a lasting result

APPROACH

At ELITES clinic, we treat tooth decay using caries detector dyes, rubber dams, dental photography protocols, and premium Japanese composite materials. This approach allows us to precisely remove decayed tissue, isolate the tooth from saliva, and restore its natural shape and color. The doctor will explain the treatment plan and exact cost after the examination.

When to Schedule a Consultation

Noticed any of these symptoms?

It is always better to detect tooth decay at an early stage when treatment is usually simpler, faster, and less extensive. During the consultation, the doctor will examine the tooth, explain the treatment options, and provide the exact cost before starting any work.

The Process

01

Consultation and Diagnostics

The doctor examines the tooth, takes an X-ray if necessary, and agrees on the treatment plan and cost with you in advance

02

Anesthesia and Isolation

If indicated, anesthesia is administered and a rubber dam is placed to isolate the tooth

03

Cleaning and Control

The doctor removes the decayed tissue and applies an indicator dye to verify the cavity is completely clean

04

Restoration and Polishing

The tooth cavity is restored using a photopolymer material, the filling is adjusted to your bite, and the doctor explains your aftercare instructions

What's Included in the Consultation

Questions

Why does tooth decay develop between teeth?

Interdental spaces are areas that are more difficult to clean effectively with a standard toothbrush. Plaque and food particles accumulate there, creating conditions for bacteria to multiply and gradually destroy the enamel. This is why regular use of dental floss or an oral irrigator is an important part of daily hygiene.

Why is a rubber dam necessary?

A rubber dam (an isolation system) is used to protect the tooth from saliva during treatment. It helps ensure better quality work, increases precision, and improves comfort during the procedure. It is also easier for the patient to relax, as there is no need to control swallowing or tongue positioning.

Will it hurt during treatment?

In most cases, treatment is completely painless thanks to modern local anesthesia. You may only feel slight pressure or vibration. If any discomfort arises, the doctor will immediately adjust the process to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

Is it true that treating front teeth is more painful?

This is a common misconception. In reality, modern local anesthesia allows for comfortable treatment of both front teeth and chewing teeth. Sensations may differ slightly depending on the situation, but the majority of patients do not experience pain during the procedure.

How often do fillings need to be replaced?

A filling does not have a strict "expiration date". It can last 5–10 years or longer. Replacement is necessary if cracks, chips, or discoloration appear, or if tooth decay develops underneath the filling. The best way to monitor this is during regular dental check-ups.
