Why should we treat primary teeth if they will eventually exfoliate?

This is a very important question. The health of baby teeth directly affects the permanent ones:

– They save space for the permanent teeth. Early loss leads to shifting and, consequently, an uneven dental arch.
– Infection from a diseased baby tooth can damage the permanent tooth bud underneath it.
– Untreated caries is a source of pain and infection for the child's entire body.

What should I do if my child is afraid of the dentist?

This is completely normal. We never treat children by force. The first step is an adaptation visit, during which the child gets acquainted with the doctor and the office in a play-based setting. We show instruments, give rides in the dental chair, and give gifts. Our goal is to build trust so that treatment proceeds calmly and without stress.

Is it possible to treat teeth under sedation or "medical sleep"?

Yes, this is a modern and safe method. It is indicated in cases where the child is very small, has strong fear, or needs a large number of teeth treated at once. Treatment takes place under the constant supervision of an anesthesiologist and allows all manipulations to be performed with high quality while the child sleeps peacefully.

How often should I bring my child for a check-up?

We recommend prophylactic check-ups every 3–6 months. Dental caries in children progresses much faster than it does in adults. Regular visits enable the early detection of dental concerns, ensuring that intervention can be minimally invasive, swift, and completely free of discomfort.

What signs indicate the presence of dental caries in a child?

Pay attention to the following signs:

– White, yellow, or dark spots on the teeth;
– Complaints of pain when consuming sweets, cold, or hot foods;
– The child starts chewing only on one side;
– Bad breath.

If any of these symptoms appear, you should book a consultation.
